Sunday invasions!

Now I'm not sure about all you other sausages out there but my pet humans have some very strange goings ons!
Sundays are run around the house with strange objects day!
I personally am very good at running round the house with all kinds of objects! But the humans don't seem to like these objects as they are trying to invade my house!!! I like to call them DOGs Dangerous Oblong Gizmo-a-bobs!!
These DOGs can be very sneaky, therefore I am chief supervisor....
However, the DOGs are very naughty and I have to intervene as they can be too much for the humans sometimes!
This DOG tries to suck my teeth out but luckily I am too quick for him!
Others have extra spikey brizzles and the humans have to wrestle it round the floor and it is always trying to take away my secret stash of biscuits from under the cupboards!!!
I keep my distance from this one as the brizzles hurt my tongue!!
The final one hisses and has smoke coming out of it, it is really scary so me and my Kafin hide together so that it can't find us!!

I have nightmares that they will invade us sometimes when the humans aren't around to wrestle them......Do any other sausages out there have a problem with invading DOGs?

Long & Low

The problem with being Long & Low is the mud!!! We live in between 3 working farms, one of them being the biggest dairy farm in the UK. An equestrian centre, just down the road, 2 riding schools and numerous other horse stables in the area which results in lots of  'muck on the roads!

I don't 'do' fields as I don't like 'wet & soggy'.

I don't 'do' rain, I don't like getting wet!
When we go walkies I will trot along avoiding the puddles and mud at all costs, even walking in the middle of the road, which gets me told off. Well I don't have Wellies do I. Then because I have been made to walk in the mud and the puddles I have to go through this.............

Bathtime..

but then  get cuddles in a nice warm towel

Mummy always moans about the state of the bath afterwards, but if they will insist on walking a long and low dog round a working village what do they expect. I say serves them right!!

What I LOVE is warmth, sun, radiators, fires the old Rayburn I miss sooooooooooooo much, knees, blankets, duvets. I just can't get enough.

Here I am sat on top of a kidney shaped dressing table to take the best advantage of the sun available. To get here I went via the sofa to a chair then onto the dressing table.

This was the best place, in front of the Rayburn!

Disguised

Sorry for the lack of posts it has been really rather hectic here.
On the Saturday before Christmas my luvly Kafin went 'oop north' to get her Nana, who has been in and out of hospital this year, its a long story so will shorten it.....
phone call, Nana in hospital coughing up loads of blood..
Mum phones Tori to come and look after me..
Mum & Dad leave then break down????
Mums sister also on her way from Sussex..
After 2 hour wait car is fixed so Mum carries on...
1 hour later phone call to say Nana discharged from hospital (to much warfarin!!)
Mum & Dad turn round as sister is nearly there!
Nana brought down for Crimbo next day, still coughing blood but not as bad.
Christmas was very stressful for my Mummy lots and lots went on, but its over now and we survived!

Anyway I wanted to share my 'blankie' with you. It has holes in but is still lovely and warm, best of all I can disguise myself and no one knows I am there!!

I like to keep my mummy on her toes and find new places to sleep, especially as she always tidies 'blankie' away. I tried to get it down from here but it wouldn't come so I went to it.

As we live in a tiny cottage. every nook and krany has things in and behind the sofa is no different, so I got myself comfy and went to sleep.

When they came looking for me, I stayed very still and never moved so they couldn't find me. It was very funny!
